When it comes to physical attributes though, I gotta say beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. A pretty boy who cannot commit to a monogamous steady relationship is a big turn-off, whereas an average so-so looking guy ends up looking much more attractive because he is faithful, devoted and can provide security in the relationship.
I've been reading "Mr. Good Enough" - a book by Lori Gottlieb, in which she wrote about women and men having different dating criterias. I think that ultimately most women desire to settle down with a kind-hearted, loving, dependable partner and raise a family together. Therefore, having the same long-term goals and sharing the same vision with someone is, in my opinion, much more important than their physical looks.

What an interesting topic!

I completely agree that the overall approach is the best one. Players really do portray a sense of control and coolness. They definitely do not have to be good looking. Haha. I have seen it.!

Great article!
