The 5 Reasons Why I Blog

Self-Expression: I have always loved writing since I was young. I feel that often I am able to express myself better through written words. One of my teachers told me when I was about 11 or 12 that I have a flair in writing. Am not sure what that really means then… haha! But I knew that it is probably a compliment, and that has encouraged me to continue. Have kept so many diaries over the year, and sometimes I will misplace them. Hence, it is great having an online journal!

Sharing: Friends have told me that they enjoy my writing. Hence, I feel that my blog is a great space to share my thoughts and my musings. Also, I am in a wonderful position where I get to meet lots of singles and know about their experiences. Hence, this is a great platform to share my findings and my insights with my readers.

Learning: I have learnt so much from my fellow readers. When you leave a comment, or when I visit your site… there are just so many things that I have picked up in the last few years that I have kept a blog. Thank you so much!

Establishing a Web Presence: I feel that blogging is also a good way to establish a web presence especially in the industry that I am in. There are so many other dating agencies out there and sometimes consumers are not sure whether these are bona fide agencies. Through my blog, my members or potential members can get to know me better, and understand why I decided to set up Lunch Actually.

Keeping in touch: And last but not least, but the most important reason why I blog… is to keep in touch with my friends. When I was at university, I spent lots of time writing lengthy emails. But now, with my babe and business, it is getting increasingly difficult to write emails, not to mention long ones. By reading my blog, friends can have a quick update of what I have been up to.
